Links           In June of 1998, CCRA entered into a partnership with Industry to attempt to improve access of
Contact us   taxpayers to the SRED Incentive program. CATA has taken a lead role in the Industry side and together
Home          with the CCRA has produced a massive working paper on the Software sector. This paper has been
accepted by CCRA as representative of what the administration of the program should be in the
Software or IT sector. Users are encouraged to read this paper

This paper took some 18 months to produce and is now being used as the basis of education of both
participants and CCRA personnel in understanding how the SRED program will be delivered to the IT
sector. A series of workshops has already been conducted across the country. Future CCRA
workshops for the Prairie Region have been scheduled. See details under the heading: Workshops

An outcome of the Industry/CCRA Initative is that regional committees be formed to communciate the
successes and failures as the delivery of the SRED program unfolds. This website is sponsored by
the Prairie Region Committee. It should be noted that the committee is NOT associated with CATA,
                               but independently formed and conducted.
